dc.description.abstractABSTRACT In tîıis study, soil behaviour around piles has been analyzed to fee able to design safe and economical pile foundations. The equations determinig the soil behaviour have been solved by a Finite Element Program called CKISP-66. The chosen soil model is Modified Cam-clay having elasto-plastic soil properties. A triaxial test example has been prepared being subject to the same characteristics as the model soil, to make comparisons.en_US
