Abstract
`68` 7. SUMMARY This study, which was carried out in Sivas, in 1983 and in 1993, has he®n conducted ta determine the weed seed mixing with wheat depending on the harvesting types and to determine some morfological features of them seeds. The weed seeds mixed with the wheat samples of 500 - 1.000 gr of obtained from se lector centres, was seperated and the fallowing results were obtained. 1. In 1983, 49 weed species mixed with wheat were iden tified. These species consisted of 3 monocot i ledon and 46 di- coti ledon species» 47 species found in scythe-machine stack harvest and 38 of them were in combine harvested samples. 2 species found in combine harvested were not noticed in the other type of harvest. 2» In 1993, 32 weed species mixed with wheat. belonged 3 monocot i ledon species of weed and 29 dicotiledon species of weed were determined. 27 species of weed seed were found in scythe-machine stack harvest and 28 species of weed seed were determined in combine harvested saples. 5 species found in combine harvested samples weren not noticed in scythe-machine stack harvest while 4 species found in scythe-machine stack harvested samples were not noticed in combine harvested yield» 3. 51 species of weed have been found from the samples of wheat obtained in 3 983 and in 1993. These species consist of 3 monocoti ledon species B.nd 48 dikotiledan species. The morphological structures of them were been drawn and descri--69- bed. The one thousand grain weights of these species and the districts were determined» 4. While 31.9 percent o-F the yield harvested by using combine harvester in Sivas in 1993» It has been noticed that this ratio increased up to 67.5 percent in the same region in 1993, 5» Two weed species which were not -Found in 1983 identi fied in 1993. On the other hand the 19 weed species -found in 1983- were not found in 1993» 6. The following 10 weed species that have been found mostly mixed with the yield and they were put in order of im portances Galium aparine (_., Vicia sativa L.» Cephalaria syriaca <L. ) Schrader., Polygonum aviculare L»,Sinapis arven- sis L., Convolvus arvensis L., Bupleurum lane i -fol i um Hor nem, Caucalis latifolia L., Centaur ia eyanus L», Ranunculus arven sis « in 1993 samples these were Silena gallica L., S. arven sis, C. arvensis, C. syriaca, P. aviculare, Agrest#îhma githago L., V. sativa, C. eyanus, B. lancifalium, C. latifolia. S. aperine and R. arvensis were found in 1983 as S. gallica and A. githago were identified in 1993 samples. `68` 7.
