dc.description.abstractÖZET YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZİ MALEİK ANHİDRİT-STİREN-ALLİFENİLETER TERPOLİMERİNİN DEĞİŞİK AMİD VE İMİD TÜREVLERİNİN SENTEZİ VE KARAKTERİZASYONU Ahmet ÖZER Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Kimya Anabilim Dalı Danışman: Yrd. Doç. Dr. Hacı Bayram ZENGİN Bu çalışmada, önce MA/ST/AFE terpolimeri sentezlendi, sonra onun amonyak, etilamin, 2-kloranilin, 1.6-hegzametilendiamin, 1.4-fenilendiamin ve Etilendiamin ile amidik asit ve imid türevlerinin sentezi ve karakterizasyonu incelenmiştir. Başlangıçta maleik anhidrit, stiren ve Allilfenil eter monemerlerinden MA/ST/AFE terpolimeri sentezlenmiştir. Daha sonra elde edilen terpolimerin amidik asit türevlerinin elde edilmesi için; terpolimer amonyak, etilamin, 2- kloranilin, 1.6-Hegzametilendiamin, 1.4-fenilendiamin ve etilendiamin ile tepkime sokularak anhidrit grupları amidik asit gruplarına dönüştürülmüştür. Böylece kullanılan monoaminler ile amidik asit, diamin ile de bunların bismaleamidik asit türevleri elde edilmiştir. Daha sonra elde edilen MA/ST/AFE terpolimerinin amidik asit ve bismaleamidik asit türevleri, Dimetilformamid'te çözülerek 150°C'de karıştırılarak bir saat süreyle ısıtılmak suretiyle maleikanhidrit grupları maleimid ve bismaleimid gruplarına dönüştürülmüştür. MA/ST/AFE terpolimerinden elde edilen tüm amidik asit ve imid türevlerinin spektrofotometrik karekterizasyonu KBr ile paletleri hazırlanarak FTIR spektrofotometresi ile yapılmıştır.VI Sentezlenen örneklerin ısısal özellikleri TG cihazı ile incelenmiştir. TG için her bir örnekten yaklaşık 10 mg alınarak ve 10 °C/dk ısıtma hızı ile 600 °C'ye kadar ve 25 cm3dk`' dinamik azot atmosferinde TG eğrileri kaydedilmiştir. Kaydedilen TG eğrilerinden her bir örneğin Tj, Th, Tm, Tf, Rm ve Cm gibi ısısal analiz kriterleri saptanmıştır. Aynı TG eğrilerinin kinetik analizi ise Jerez düzeltmeli Freeman-Carroll yöntemi ile yapılmış ve her bir örneğin verdiği ısısal bozunma tepkimesinin tepkime derecesi (n) ve etkinleşme enerjisi (E) hesaplanmıştır. Bu şekilde elde edilen TG verilerinin değerlendirilmesinden, elde edilen amidik asit ve imid türevlerinin ısısal kararlılıklarının genel olarak MA/ST/AFE terpolimerinden daha kararlı oldukları anlaşılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, anhidrid halkalarının yerine imid halkalarının geçmesi ile ısısal kararlılığı daha iyi olan terpolimerin elde edileceği söylenebilir. Thesis SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF DIFFERENT AMIDE AND IMTOE DERIVATIVES OF MALEIC ANIIYDRIDE-STYRENE-ALLIL PHENYL ETHER TERPOLYMER Ahmet ÖZER Cumhuriyet University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Chemistry Supervisor: Yrd. Doç. Dr. Hacı Bayram ZENGİN In this study, initially the MA/ST/AFE terpolymer was synthesized, then its amidic acid an dimide derivatives was Synthesized by using ammonia, ethyl amine, 2-Chloro aniline, 1,6-hexamethylenediamine, 1,4-phenylendiamine and ethylene diamine reagents. Initially, MA/ST/AFE terpolymer was synthesized from maleic anhydrite, styrene and alii phenyl ether monomers. After that, in order to synthesis its amidic acid derivertives from the terpolymer obtained, the terpolymer was reacted with amonia, ethyl amine, 2-Chloro aniline, 1,6- hexamemylenediamine, 1,4- phenylendiamine and ethylene diamine, and its anhydrite groups were transformated to amidic acid groups. By the way, the amidic acid was obtained by using the relevant monomers, and then their bismaleamidic acid derivatives were obtained. Amidic acid and bismaleamidic acid derivatives of the MA/ST/AFE terpolymer obtained, were dissolved in dimethyl formamide and its maleic anhydrite groups were transformed to its bismaleimide groups by mixing and heating one hour at 150°C. By the way the maleimide derivatives were obtained from the amidie acid derivertives of the terpolymer and then the bismaleimide derivatives were obtained from its bismaleamidic acid derivatives, too.VIII Spectrophotometric characterize VIII 0f all of amicid acid an dimide derivatives obtained from MA/ST/AFE terpolymer, was made by FTIR spectrophotometer via preparation of their KBr discs. Thermal properties of polymer samples synthesized, were studied by TG apparatus. For TG analysis, approximately 10 mg of each sample was weighed and its TG aurues were taken up to 600°C with a heating rate of 10°C/min under the dynamic nitrogen (N2) atmosphere of 25 cm3/min. By the usage of TG curves taken, thermal analysis parameters of each sample Tj, Th, Tm, Tf, RM and Cm were determined. Such as kinetic analysis of the same TG curves was made by Freeman- Carroll method and reaction order (n) and activation energy (Ea) of each sample was calculated, based on thermal degradation reaction that each sample gave. From the evaluation of TG data obtained by the way, it was observed that thermal stabilities of amidic acid and imide derivatives synthesized, were higher than those of MA/ST/AFE terpolymer. As a result, by substitution of imide rings with anhydrite rings. It way be stated that terpolymers having higher thermal stability will be obtained.
