Bilim ve sanat merkezlerinin amacına uygun işleyişinin merkez öğretmenleri tarafından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Türkiye' de bulunan 43 Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi' nde görev yapmakta olan öğretmenlerin Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri' nin amacına uygun işleyişi hakkındaki görüşleri ve düşüncelerinin cinsiyet, hizmet yılları, Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi' ndeki hizmet yılları, öğrenim durumları ve mezuniyet durumlarına göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği araştırılmıştır.Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri' nin amacına uygun işleyişine yönelik olarak uygulanan ankette beşli likert tipi ölçek uygulanmıştır. Anket maddeleri alt boyutlara göre değerlendirildiğinde, öğretmenlerin katılma düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi öğretmenlerinin görüşlerinin cinsiyet, hizmet yılı, öğrenim durumu ve mezuniyet durumuna yönelik olarak farklılaşmadığı, yalnız Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi' deki hizmet sürelerine göre farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin cevaplarının kesinlikle katılıyorum ve katılıyorum seçeneklerinde yoğunlaştığı görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin, Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri' nin imkânları ve fiziki koşullarının yetersiz olduğu görüşünde oldukları ortaya çıkmış, program ve yönetmelik konusunda da gerekli çalışmaların yapılması isteğinde oldukları görülmüştür. Ayrıca Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri' nin üniversiteler ile işbirliği içerisinde çalışmasının öğrenciler için daha verimli olduğu düşüncesinde oldukları görülmüştür. Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi öğretmenlerinin, Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri' ndeki eksik ve aksaklıklar tamamlandığı zaman Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri' nin daha verimli olacağı görüşünde oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır.

In this thesis, it has been studied whether the opinions and thinkings of the 43 Science&Art Centers? teachers? in Turkey on the execution of the Science&Art Centers expediencially, undergo a change according to their sexuality, years of office, years of office in Science&Art Center and education degree. It?s been seen that the opinions of the Science&Art Centers? teachers? do not undergo a change due to their sexuality, years of office and education degree but years of office in Science&Art Center. In the survey to find out whether the Science&Art Centers are executed expediencially, `the five-point likert scale? is to be implemented. It?s been seen that the participation level of teachers is high when the articles of survey are evaluated according to the sub-dimensions.It? s been seen that the answers of the teachers majored on the choices of `I agree? and `I absolutely agree?. It?s been found out that the teachers view the environmental conditions and facility of Science&Art Centers are deficient and wish the needed legislations are to be executed about the regulations and curriculum. Besides, they are of a thinking that it would be more efficient for the students that Science&Art Centers are to work in cooperation with universities. It?s turned out that in Science&Art Center?s teachers? opinion, Science&Art Centers will be more efficient when the defects and troubles of Science&Art Centers are dispelled.
