Ubeyd-i Zakani, toplumsal görüşleri, ahlak felsefesi

Abstract

Mizah ve alay sahasında İran edebiyatında benzeri bulunmayan 'Ubeyd-i Zâkânî, VIII/XIV. asırda yaşamıştır. Realist bir metod izleyen yazar, hem şiir yaz mış, hem de mizah içerikli mensur eserleri ile ahklâk felsefesi ve toplumsal yapıyla ilgili fikirler ileri sürmüştür. `'Ubeyd-i Zâkânî, Toplumsal Görüşleri, Ahlâk ve Felsefesi` adıyla yapılmış olan bu çalışma, bir giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Girişte araştırma konusu yazarın karakteristik ve psikolojik yapısını etkileyen, dönemin siyasal, sosyal, ik tisadî, dinî ve ilmî durumu hakkında kısa bilgi verilmiş ve genel anlamda felsefî ahlakın tarihî seyri ve muhtevası özetlenmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde, 'Ubeyd'in hayatı, eserleri ve edebî kişiliği araştırılmış, aynca onun alay. hiciv ve hezelle ilgisi, yöntemi ve bu hususlardaki maharetinden söz edilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, yazarın toplumsal yapıyla İlgili görüşleri incelenmiş, onun yaşadığı dönemle ilgili tasvirlerinin çok değerli bilgiler içerdiği ve bu konudaki ri salelerinin tarihçi ve sosyologlar için, bulunmaz hazineler olduğu müşahede edil miştir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise, 'Ubeyd'in düşüncelerinin temeli ve kendi sinin ahlâk felsefesi üzerinde durulmuş, onun fert ve toplum ahlakıyla ilgili fikir leri araştırılmıştır. Aynca tezde işlenen konuların ve varılan sonuçların bir özeti de sonuç kısmında verilmiş, karma ve zengin bir indeks de çalışmaya eklenmiştir.

*Ubeyd-i Zâkânî, who appeared to be an unsurpassed literary figure in hu mour and mockery in Iranian literature, lived in the 14*^ Century (H. 8*ty. Emp loying a realistic method, he did not only produced poetical works but also set forth his views on the philosophy of ethics and the social structure of his com munity. The present study titled '`Ubeyd-i Zâkânî, His Philosophy, Morality and Views on Society`, consists of an Introduction and Three Chapters. The Intro duction covers the political, social, religious and scientific background of his time and a general history of philosophical ethics in the course of previous centuries. In the First Chapter I am concerned with his life, works and scholarly side with an emphasis on his distinguished sense of humour and his ability in satiri cal and pornographic mockery. The Second Chapter, I dealt with his opinions on the workings of the soci ety of his time. It seemed that his descriptive narration about the events of his ti me contained very extensive data which may well constitute valuable source of information for social scientists and historians. In the Third and the last Chapter the philosophical basis of his thoughts and his ethical philosophy were studied, emphasizing on his opinions on indivi dual and social moral standards. The main body of this study is followed by a summary and an extensive in dex of the names and concepts mentioned in the dissertation.
