Ayntab şehrinin sosyal ve ekonomik yapısı (1600-1650)

Abstract

Bu çalışma, 1600-1650 yılları arasında Ayntab şehrinin fizikî, idarî, ekonomik ve sosyal yapısını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma dört ana bölümden meydana gelip girişte Ayntab isminin menşei, coğrafi konumu ile XVII. yüzyıla kadar olan tarihinden bahsedilmiş ve çalışmanın ana kaynakları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde, Ayntab şehrinin fizikî ve demografik yapısı incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde şehrin idarî yapısı ve şehir yöneticilerinden bahsedilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde şehirdeki esnaf grupları, ekonomik faaliyetler, tahsil edilen vergiler ve merkezi gelir kaynakları üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmanın dördüncü bölümü, sosyal yapı başlığını taşımaktadır. Bu bölümde, toplumu meydana getiren aile kavramından ve toplumda meydana gelen bazı toplumsal olaylar ile sosyal hayatın vazgeçilmez parçası olan vakıf kurumlarından bahsedilmiştir.

This study aims to introduce the physical, administrative, economic and social structure of the city of Ayntab in the first half of the 17th century. The study is composed of four main chapters. The introduction includes the origin of the name of Ayntab, its geographical location and its historical background until the 17th century. Moreover, the introduction part gives information about the main resources of the study.In the first chapter of the study, the physical and demographical structure of Ayntab is examined. In the second chapter the administrative structure of the city and its governor is scrutinized. The third chapter dwells upon the craftsmen, economic activities, tax revenue and central income sources of the city. The fourth chapter of the study is named as social structure. In this chapter, the concept of family as the core of society, the social events and the endowments, which are the essential parts of the social life, are examined.
