36 tanesine insülin+glukoz verilen toplam 72 rat'a Marmarou metodu ile ağır kafa travması oluşturuldu. Ayrıca 6 ratta kontrol grubu olarak alındı. Her iki gurup kendi aralarında herbiri 6 raftan olsan subgruplara ayrıldı. Gurupların ilk subguruplanndan travma sonrası 2. saatte, 2. subguruplardan 6. saatte, 3. subguruplardan 12. saatte, 4. subguruplardan 24. saatte, 5. subguruplardan 48. saatte ve son subguruplardanda 7. gün kan alındı. Santrifüjle plazma elde edildi, spektrofotometrik tetkikle plazmada NO bakıldı.
Y Although so many medical and surgical courses have been applied till today in the cure of severe head traumas, unfortunately, the results are not satisfactory. In this researc the response NO, a potent vazodilator on the rate of severe head traumas to which insulin was not given and on which normoglycemia was formed by giving insulin, was researched. Severe head trauma was formed with Marmarou method on totally 72 rate to 36 of mem msulm+grakoz was given. 6 rats were taken as control group as well. Each of two groups among each other were divided into subgroups each of which consists of 6 rats. Blood was taken after trauma from the first subgroups of the groups at 2 nd hour, from the second subgroups at 6 th hour, from the 3 rd subgroups at 12 th hour, from the fourth subgroups at 24 th hour, from the S th subgroups at 48 th hour, and from the last subgroups at 7 th day. Plasma was obtained with centrifuge. NO was looked at plasma with spectrophotometric close examination. It was seen mat nitrit+nitrat values went up according to control values after trauma at early times and50 measurement at intervals. The same situation was observed on rats on which normoglycemia was formed. But the increase was at lower lewel on this group. As a conclusion of experimental study, it was prowed that NO responded to head trauma by increasing and normogliycemia pushed this increase down.en_US
