Bu çalışmada İzmir ili, Bornova ilçesinin özellikle peyzaj alanları ve tarım dışı diğer alanlardaki Coccinellidae faunasının tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Coccinellid örnekleri atrapla, darbe yöntemiyle veya doğrudan elle toplanmıştır. Mart-Eylül (2012) aylarında yürütülen bu çalışma sonucunda Coccinellidae familyasından 11 cinse bağlı 13 tür tespit edilmiştir. Belirlenen türler: Henosepilachna elaterii (Rossi), Coccinella septempunctata L., Chilocorus bipustulatus (L.), Hippodamia variegata (Goeze), Exochomus nigromaculatus (Goeze), Exochomus quadripustulatus (L.), Nephus nigricans Weise, Adalia decempunctata (L.), Coccinula quatuordecimpunctata (L.), Scymnus pallipediformis Günther, Scymnus marginalis (Rossi), Scymnus sp., Oenopia conglobata (L.), Propylaea quatuordecimpunctata (L.)'dır.
The determination and distribution of the Coccinellidae fauna in uncultivated areas especially in recreation areas and some other habits in Bornova (İzmir) District, located at western part of Turkey, were aimed in this study. The specimens were collected by shaking method and sweeping methods or directly with a poison jar and hand during period of 2012 March-September. In this study, thirteen Coccinellidae species belonging to eleven genera were recorded. These species namely; Henosepilachna elaterii (Rossi), Coccinella septempunctata L., Chilocorus bipustulatus (L.), Hippodamia variegata (Goeze), Exochomus nigromaculatus (Goeze), Exochomus quadripustulatus (L.), Nephus nigricans Weise, Adalia decempunctata (L.), Coccinula quatuordecimpunctata (L.), Scymnus pallipediformis Günther, Scymnus marginalis (Rossi), Oenopia conglobata (L.) and Propylaea quatuordecimpunctata (L.). Among the collected species, C. septempunctata L. (%44.22), H. elaterii (Rossi) (%31.87) and C. bipustulatus (L.) (%13.74) were more abundant than others, and A. decempunctata (L.) (%0.19), E. quadripustulatus (L.) (%0.19), S. marginalis (Rossi) (%0.19), Coccinula quatuordecimpunctata (L.) (%0.19), Nephus nigricans Ws. (%0.19) and Scymnus sp.(%0.19) were found rarely. Henosepilachna elaterii (Rossi) was phytophagous and other species were predators feeding on various pests same as aphids, coccoids and spider mites.en_US
