Hollanda`da Türk sivil örgütlenmesi ve Türkevi örneği

Abstract

ÖZET HOLLANDA'DA TURK SİVİL ÖRGÜTLENMESİ VE TURKEVI ORNEGI Bu çalışmanın konusu Hollanda'da yaşayan Türkler tarafından kurulan sivil toplum örgütleridir. Gözlemlerimiz, Hollanda' daki sivil Türk örgütlerinin siyasi/ideolojik, dini, konjonktürel ve sosyal/kültürel amaçlı olmak üzere dört farklı genel amaç temelinde kurulduklarını göstermektedir. Çalışma iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde genel olarak Hollanda'da yaşayan Türkler tarafından kurulan sivil toplum örgütlerinin genel yapı ve özellikleri değerlendirilmiş, ikinci bölümde ise çalışmanın örneklemi olan Türkevi sivil toplum örgütü sosyal ve kültürel değerler bakımından incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın bir sonucu olarak, Hollanda'da yaşayan Türklerin Türk kimliğini koruma, geliştirme ve sürdürme konusunda yüksek beklentilerinin olduğu saptanmıştır. Başlangıç dönemlerinde, Türkiye'deki siyasi ideolojik akımların uzantısı olarak şekillenen sivil örgütlenmesinin bugün bu özelliğinden giderek uzaklaşma eğilimi göstererek, daha çok, sosyal/kültürel amaçlı örgütlenmeye yöneldiği tespit edilmiştir. ABSTRACT TURKISH NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE NETHERLANDS AND THE CASE OF TURKISH HOUSE The object of this dissertation is the non-governmental organizations of Turkish minority in the Netherlands. It was observed that these Turkish non-governmental organizations in the Netherlands are established on the basis of four general purposes such as political/ideological, religious, conjectural and socio-cultural. The study consists of two chapters. In the first one, the general structure and the characteristics of Turkish non-governmental organizations in the Netherlands were studied; in the second, Turkish House, one of the non-governmental Turkish organizations which we took as the experimental sample of our work, was examined in terms of social and cultural values. Given the consequences of this study, it was observed that Turkish minority in the Netherlands have high expectations in keeping, developing and maintaining their Turkish identity. Those non-governmental organizations which are established by the first generation under the influences of political and ideological movements in Turkey are today tend to leave such characteristics in favor of social and cultural organizations.
