Katade b. Diame hadis ilmindeki yeri

Abstract

ÖZET `Katâde b. Diâme ve Hadis İlmindeki Yeri` isimli bu çalışma, bir giriş ve iki ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde, Katâde b. Diâme' nin yaşadığı yerler olan Basra ve Vâsıt ile yaşadığı zaman dilimindeki coğrafî, sosyal ve ilmî çevresi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde `Katâde b. Diâme'nin Hayatı ve Kişiliği` ile ilgili bilgilere değinilmiş eserleri incelenmiştir. Burada, nesebi, çocukluğu, yetişmesi ve vefatı üzerinde durulmuştur. Kişiliği bölümünde ise ilmî kişiliğinin yanı sıra tefsir, fıkıh, lügat ve kıraat ilimlerindeki yeri incelenmeye çalışılmış ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. `Hadis İlmindeki Yeri` adını taşıyan İkinci Bölüm ise beş başlıktan oluşmaktadır. Öncelikle Hadis bilgisi üzerinde durulup daha sonra `Güvenilirlik Durumu` başlığı altında hakkında yapılan tenkitler tespit edilip değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Hadis Öğrenimi başlığı altında, hadis rivayetinde kullandığı eda sigaları hakkında ulaşılabilen haberlere yer verilmiş daha sonra da özel ilişkisi olan ve kendinden en çok istifade ettiği hocaları incelenmiştir. Hadis Öğretimi bölümünde Hadis rivayetindeki durumu ele alınmış, tedlis ve irsal başta olmak üzere rivayet ettiği hadislerin durumları incelenmiştir. Daha sonra talebelerinden en meşhurları incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra da onun rivayet ettiği hadislerin en güvenilir hadis kitapları olan kütüb-i sitte'ye dağılımı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Çalışmamızın sonunda sonuç ve bibliyografya yer almaktadır.

SUMMARY This study, `Qatada bin Diama and his place in the science of Hadith (tradition) `, consists in an introduction and two main chapters. In the introduction, we dealt with the places Qatada bin Diama lived such as Basra and Wasit, and with the social, geographic and political situation and with the study of Hadith of the time. In the first chapter, we studied the life of Qatada bin Diama and his personality and tried to determine his lineage, childhood, education and his demise. In the section, we, besides his scientific personality, also concerned with his personality and tried to study his place in Tafsir (Commentary on Quran), Islamic Jurisprudence, and Linguistic and Recitation of the Quran (Kıraat) and gave information about his studies and works. The second chapter titled `His place in Hadith` consists in five sub-sections. First, in the chapter titled `His Reliability`, we dwelled upon his knowledge of Hadith and evaulated them and then tried to determine the critics put against him. We also gave information about the Pharases of Transmission he used and examined the teachers he had special relations with and benefited from most under the heading, `His study of Hadith`. In the heading titled `His Techings of Hadiths` we dealt with his position in the science of Hadith and examined, foremost, Tadlis and İrsal and the situation of the hadiths he transmitted and then we tried to examine his most famous students and gave information about his hadiths dispersed throughout the Qutubi Sitta, the most reliable hadith books. We concluded this treatise with a conclusion and bibliography. VIII
