İşletmelerin sosyal sorumlulukları ve çalışma hayatının kalitesinin arttırılması üzerine etkisi

Abstract

ÖZET Günümüz dünyasında siyasi, ekonomik ve sosyal yapılarda köklü değişimler yaşanmaktadır. Bilgi ve teknoloji`, ürün, para ve insanlar ulusal sınırlan aşarak serbestçe hareket edebilmektedir. Bu döneme `globalleşme` denilmektedir. Globalleşme süreci içinde işletmeler, toplumsal fayda sağlamayı ve işletmeye uzun dönem de kar elde ettirmeyi amaç edinmiştir. Bu amaçla işletmeler, sosyal sorumluluk düzeylerini belirleyen çeşitli stratejiler ortaya koymaktadır. Sosyal sorumluluğun neleri içerdiği konusundaki fikir ayrılıklarının çoğunda belli bir uzlaşmaya varılabilir. İş, işverenlerin kar sağlamak için yaptıklar! bir ekonomik varoluş mudur? Yoksa toplum için yapılan ekonomik ve sosyal bir destek midir? Araştırmamız da bu yorumlara açıklık getirmek için işletmelerin geçmişten bugüne sosyal sorumluluk anlayışındaki değişim -, ve gelişimleri, sosyal sorumluluk alanlarını belirlemeye çalışacağız. Çalışma hayatının kalitesi sosyal sorumluluk alanlarından birisidir. Özellikle gelişmiş ülkeler de iş yaşamının nasıl nitelikli bir hale getirilebileceği önemli bir sorun haline gelmiştir. Çalışma hayatının kalitesi ile ilgili tanımlar henüz açıklığa kavuşmamış olmakla birlikte, verimlilik artışı ve yüksek ürün kalitesi sağlamak amacıyla ; ` sosyo- teknik` organizasyon ve yönetim sistemi çerçevesinde işletmelerde çalışma hayatının kalitesinin geliştirilmesine yönelik programlar uygulanması için sarfedilen çabalar, geleceğin yönetim, organizasyon ve iş yapısının oluşturulmasında önemli rol oynamaktadır. Çalışma hayatının kalitesi; organizasyonun tüm yönlerini etkileyen inanç ve değerler dizisi oluşturmada çok boyutlu yada sistemsel bir yaklaşımdır. SUMMARY INCREASING QUALITY OF WORKLTFE AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMPANIES In today's world while fundamental changes has been going on in politicial, economical and social field on the other hand knowledge and technology, product, money and people may move freely by going over national boardsand this period named as globalizm. In the time of globalizm, companies aim to provide social benefit and in a long term to gain profit for themselves. Much of the disagreement over what social responsibility involves can be traced to a fundamental debate about the exact purpose of a business. Is a business an economic entity responsible only for making a profit for its stockholders? Or is it a socioeconomic entity obligated to make both economic and social contributions to society?^ Depending^ on one's perspective, social responsibility can be interpreted either way. In our study, to be able to explain these comments we are going to try to determine what the changes and improvements are in companies' social responsibility comprehension from past to today. The quality of work life is one of the social responsibitiy components. It is very important matter that how work life is well-qualified especially in developed countries. In the framework of ` socio-technic` organizational and management system, the efforts to implement the programs of quality of working life in the enterprises for the sake of improved productivity and` higher quality have been playing an important role on the formation of the future structure of management, organization and work though the definitions of QWL have not been clear and unique. QWL is a systemic or multifaceted approach to create a set of beliefs and values which affect all aspects of organizations so, this study tries to carry out how the on-going changing process can be started and settled in the companies of these countries. How the organization should be structured in order to increase the work life quality is the main topic of this research.
