İstanbul`da afet yönetimi

Abstract

ÖZET Bu tezin amacı, depremin toplum üzerindeki etkilerini anlatmak, olası İstanbul depremine yönelik hazırlıkları incelemek, deprem hazırlıkları konusunda toplumumuzu bilgilendirmek ve afet kültürü yaratmaktır. Hazırlıklar kapsamında merkezi yönetim, yerel yönetim, sivil savunma kuruluştan, sivil toplum kuruluşları ve özel sektörün yaptığı hazırlıklar incelenmiştir.Özellikle de İstanbul Valiliğinin hazırlığına, İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesinin hazırlığına ve Kadıköy Belediyesinin hazırlığına ağırlık verilmiştir. Karşılaşılan problemler saptanmış ve çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.Konu ile ilgili kitaplar, internet adresleri, dergiler, makaleler incelenmiş, Belediye Başkadan, Kadıköy Afet Yönetim Projesi yetkilileri, AKUT ve Sivil Toplum Kuruluşlannın yetkilileri ile görüşmeler yapılmıştır. SUMMARY DISASTER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN ISTANBUL KEYWORDS: Coordination, Disaster, Earthquake, Emergency Management System The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the effects of the earthquake on society and examine measures taken by central and local authorities for a possible earthquake in Istanbul. Within this context,emphasis is given to policies of The Central Goverment, The Local Goverment, Civil Protection Organisations, Civil Society Organisations and Private Sector. Especially the preparedness of Governorship of Istanbul. As far as the methodology of the dissertation is concerned a literature survey was conducted. In addition, we made interviews with officials employed by the municipalities and civil society organisations.
