Türk modernleşme sürecinde kadın perspektifi ve cemiyetleri

Abstract

ÖZET Kadın problemi Osmanlı'nın mahrem ve tartışılması gereken konularının başında gelir. Bu konuda dini meselelerde yetkili olmayanların fikir beyan etmesi mümkün değildir. Eğer bir fikir ileri sürülecekse de [Geleneksel dönem] mutlaka islami referansların temel alınması şartı vardı. Ancak batılılaşmayla birlikte kadın meselesi tartışılmaya açılır. Kadının sistem içindeki konumu eleştirilir. Bu dönem de kadınlarda toplumsal konumlarını itiraz seslerini yükseltmeye başlar ve bir takım haklar talep ederler. Oysa çok değil Tanzimat döneminde yazarlar, romanlarında da bile herhangi bir erkekle herhangi bir kadını herhangi bir yerde bir araya getiremezlerdi. Tanzimat romancıları aşk meselesini işlerken de bu tür güçlükçe karşılaşmışlardır. Meşrutiyet dönemi romanlarından ise o yıllarda Avrupa'da bile toplumun büyük bir çoğunluğu tarafından benimsenmemiş olan Mariage Librei'nin (Nikahsız evliliğin) savunucusu bile yapılmıştır. Sosyolojik bir olgu olarak bu hızlı değişimin temel dinamikleri nelerdir? Osmanlı'nın genel anlamda sosyal ve siyasal alandaki batılılaşma hamlelerinden kadınlar nasıl etkilenmişlerdir? Bu süreçte nasıl bir rol oynamışlardır? Bu tarihsel dönüşüm üzerinde kadınların iradesi ne derece etken olmuştur? Türk modernleşmesinin bütün bir sosyal alandaki sürecini kadın bedeni üzerinde yürütülen iktidar mücadeleleri biçiminde okumak mümkündür. Türkçüler, İslamcılar, batılılaşma yanlıları, kadınlar üzerinden siyaset yaparken gerçektende Osmanlı kadınına tutsak ve mağdur durumundan kurtararak ona yardımcı olmak istediler yoksa fikirlerinin ifade aracı olarak mı kullandılar. Türk kadının neden Tanzimat dönemine gelinceye kadar sosyal ve siyasal konumu tartışmaya açılmamıştır. Bu durum bizce beraberinde bir soruyu da getirmiştir. Türk kadınının modernleşmesinde oryantalist söylemin etkisi ne olmuştur. Araştırmamız boyunca bu ve benzeri sorulara cevap bulmayı hedefledik. İV

SUMMARY THE WOMAN PERSPECTIVE AND ASSOCIATIONS FOR THE DURATION OF TURKISH MODERNIZATION Keywords : Woman, Rights, modernization, reformation Woman subject was a fact that was so private and could not be discussed in ottoman age. It was not possible to put forward an idea about it except for the lisenced people of religion, if an idea would be put forward (traditional age), it would absoulately have to be done by the religious references. But with the westernization woman subject began to be able to be discussed. The situtation of woman in the system was criticized and in that period women began to protest their social situtation. But in the Reformation period even writers did not gather a man and a woman any where any time for any reason. So Reformation period writers had some troubles with mentioning about love subject. But in the novels of constitutional monarchy period, the defence of Marriage Librei was done even if it was not assumed by the most of the society in europe. What are the basic dynamics of this rapid change as a sociological fact? How were the women affected by the ottoman westernization attacks on social and political area? How did they act in this period? How did the affact of the whole social on this historical turning point? It is possible to read the duration of Turkish modernization on the whole social area as a struggle of power that is tried on women body. While Turkists, islamists, westernization supporters were having politics over women; did they really want to save ottoman women from slavery and mistreated situtation or did they use them as an object to express their ideas? Why wasn't social and political situtation of Turkish women opened to discussion until reformation period? And this brings us. a question; what has the affect of orientalist idea been on the modernization of Turkish women? We wanted to find answers to those and such questions during our research.
