Thesis) Kemal ÇALIK GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY January 2003 ABSTRACT In this thesis, Tramo/Seats and X12-Arima methods were used for Retail Prices Index Numbers (1994=100) calculated by Republic of Turkey, Prime Ministry State Institute of Statistics. Retail Prices Index Numbers were modeled by these methods and their forecasts were calculated. The time interval that was determined for the analysis is January.1994-March.2002.
